“We love because He first loved us.” ~1 John 4:19
Love ought to show itself in deeds over and above words.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
Our prayerful wish for a peaceful and blessed 2016. Heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your continuing support and generosity in making our 2015 Labor of Love-Feed the Hungry so successful. Our Christmas events were so beautiful as we have witnessed the love of our members and the hungry people we served. Face to face encounter with our less fortunate brethren made our mission more meaningful and connected to Our Lord. Jesus Christ was truly in our midst. What an awesome spiritual journey in this ADVENT. There were testimonies proclaiming the presence of our Lord during our distribution and serving the homeless. Our less fortunate brethren in Downtown LA and at the Winter Shelter at St Christopher Church were so grateful and some told us that is just what they needed, a reminder that God loves them. THANK YOU all for sharing your love to the poor. To our new members, WELCOME, we are greatly honored with your participation.
We prepared, delivered and served for 1,150 brethren (our original plan was for 1,000 only but with God’s multiplying miracle, He was able to stretch it to 1,150!!!). This is the biggest we have served since our humble beginning of 25. If you believe in Him, nothing is impossible. We can serve more…..
For this event, I have received $2, 465.00 cash donation, boxes from In N Out, sodas from Coca Cola, water and food stuff from our members. THANK YOU!!! You are all so AWESOME!!! After the holidays, Linda and I will meet to do our accounting and I will send the statement in my next email.
Please join us for our Easter Event on March 18 (preparation) and 19 (distribution), 2016!!! I will be sending my email for this event soon.
Please check our updated blog (so many beautiful pictures of beautiful people serving God thru our less fortunate brethren) courtesy of Baby, our Blog Master!!! Kindly invite your families and friends to join us in serving the poor this Easter.
Take care and God bless,
Tony, Shirley and Kiko
